Our Story
Namaste Oasis was founded by Chris Cornell and Robert Hofmann, two lifelong friends whose first visit to Nosara in the late ’90s began a decades-long love affair with the area. What started as a surf trip up the coast from Playa Hermosa turned into yearly visits, deep community connections, and eventually, the opportunity to create something truly special here.
When they found this property, it had incredible bones but had been in decline for years. Chris and Rob saw its potential as a private, secure, and stylish haven for travelers—and set out to fully transform it. After a complete remodel, Namaste Oasis is now a modern, welcoming escape for groups who want to experience the best of Nosara together.
Both guys travel alot and stay at many hotels. They’ve taken that knowledge and applied here to Namaste Oasis. Even though its not a hotel it’s basically one.
About Chris
Chris Cornell, owns the largest independent music merchandise company in the world and owns 4 small boutique hotels on the Jersey shore with his biz partner. Chris spent a year and half studying architecture in college before pivoting but still appreciates great design. He also spends a lot of time marketing his clients in the music merch game which he applies to this project.
About Rob
Rob Hofmann, is CEO of one of the Middle East’s largest real estate developers, is an internationally recognized investor and builder of landmark communities in the U.S., Dubai, and Saudi Arabia. Known for his “resort-at-home” approach, Rob brought his signature blend of luxury, lifestyle, and design expertise to help create Namaste Oasis by FŌKL.
About FŌKL
Other than Chris & Rob, we’ve partnered with FOKL interior design to really bring the residences to life. Julie and Jess have done many projects in and around Nosara and we just love their aesthetic and style. Working with them on this project was incredible and so easy for us.
About Alba Nosara Properties
Alba Properties is our property manager and they’ve been incredible as well. Their concierge service is available to all our guests through Whats App and I have to say it’s just like being at an upscale hotel. Anything you need for your stay they can arrange. Transportation rentals, surfboards, dinner reservations, fun activities, etc.

We designed Namaste Oasis to be more than a place to stay—it’s a space to connect, relax, and recharge.
